China is implementing a trinity of laws - CSL, DSL and PIPL and we see it as a demonstration of their intention to move towards enhanced governance through a combination of security and privacy-focused regulations. There are rightly many concerns and questions, especially as companies are encouraged to adopt new technologies such as AI-assisted systems. ASEAN countries may be wondering if they need to do anything new, which is understandable as some regimes have not implemented their DP law.

The most important question on many people's minds: what needs to be done if we do business in China or have China clients?

Led by Kevin Shepherdson, we have the pleasure of the company of ex-HK Data Protection Commissioner, Stephen KY Wong as well as learned professionals Sarah Wang Han and Loke Qian Li in our panel discussion. Seats are limited, so be sure to register quickly for this special event!
