Effective data governance ensures that data is consistent and trustworthy and doesn’t get misused. It’s increasingly critical as organisations face new data privacy regulations and rely more and more on data analytics to help optimise operations and drive business decision-making.
This module, Digital Data Governance Frameworks and Standards, provides participants an understanding of data governance in today’s digital and regulatory environment using the ISO/IEC 38505 standard. In the post Covid-19 world, digitalisation and data will play a key bigger role in accelerating business recovery and driving decisions. Therefore Data Management will be key. The ASEAN Data Management Framework provides businesses with guidelines for their data governance structures and management of data. Participants will learn to apply data governance principles and set up their data governance framework aligned to their business strategy.
