While businesses increasingly rely on the use of mobile applications (apps) for their everyday operations, the processing of personal data through such tools poses significant risks to users’ security and privacy. The risks and potential areas of data and privacy breaches are potentially from an information life-cycle and monetisation perspective.
This module, Mobile Applications – Privacy by Design and Design Thinking provides participants with an understanding of the mobile ecosystem and data protection concepts in the mobile landscape. They will learn how to embed Data Protection by Design and by default into mobile app development lifecycle.
